It’s officially for sale. Posted last night on the local classifieds, and already getting calls.
I’m selling the jeep, cause it seats 4 and we are now 5. that and selling the jeep is going to help me pay for my Kawasaki Teryx i bought last week.
We are also looking to trade my wife’s 2011 elantra for a manual awd 2010 and newer SX4. Since my wife knows i still miss my Sx4 and will no longer have a manual once the jeep is gone.
My wife will endup using the Pathfinder and me the SX4 since I mostly drive alone, and do way more mileage than her.

I’m selling my Jeep too! It’s so I can get down to 1 car from 2. I’m all set with a buyer who I’m meeting later today to finish the deal. The lease is up soon on my 135is and I’m buying a manual 335i xDrive M Sport coupe .
My fiancee isn’t completely thrilled that I’m still going to have a BMW coupe but since now I’ll have only 1 car I can just call it “my car” instead of “the BMW” or “the Bimmer,” the second of which she hated .

if you are an average BMW driver, you might just call it “my car” but you will be wearing a BMW hat, polo and gloves.

just looked at your jeep, noticed your general grabbers at2s.
I have the same tires, well still have the tires, since they were on my SX4.
didn’t sell them since my secret plan was to get another SX4.

The only BMW-branded item I own is a keychain the dealer gave me when I got my 135is, which I immediately took off the key fob and stuffed in a drawer. I even use my turn signals! ;)
Really I just like how they drive, and I’d rather not be a part of the snobbery associated with the brand. I got in the habit of saying “Bimmer” because when I talk to my fiancee about which of our 3 cars we’d going to take somewhere, I couldn’t say “my car,” because I had more than 1, and I was too lazy to pronounce BMW when Bimmer would suffice.
Since we’re now going to each have 1 car I can go back to saying “your car” and “my car,” she won’t have to hear me say “Bimmer,” and all is right with the world.

Damn, I was so close.
That was probably still a better trade offer than craigslist offers. BTW, really dig the side by side you got, that green is awesome and I’m really interested in those things.

my wife was the one searching the classifieds for our side x side needs.
when she called me and told me she spotted a 2011 kawa in green.
My first reaction was nope, don’t want green. but really liked that green when i saw it.
i just need a Mr plow jacket.
we are also selling my boat, my suzuki 2 ATVs.
I’m only keeping my snowmobile and the kawa.
My snowmobile is a 2007 Yamaha Venture MP with under 2000kms(1200 miles) on it.
gone are the days of fixing my shit every othertime i use them.
i think we will take a family side by side ride this weekend, the snow should be all melted away by the weekend.

nice man, i wish I had somewhere to ride them. I’d have to take it 3-4 hours away to be able to use it.

I live in rural canada.
That’s why i bought my house out of town. Open the garage door, start my machine and take off from home.
It’s a 5-10 min ride in the woods to to the lake by my place.
i’m 30 seconds from an old traintrack that is now a bike/snowmobile trail.
I have a 15min(car) drive to get to town/work.

Man that would be sweet.
I have a longer commute to work and no access to trails within 3-4 hours of driving.

on the downside, i’m about a 7 hour drive to montreal, 8 hours Toronto about 5-6 hours from Ottawa.
yeah that red dot on the map is home. Halfway from Montreal to James bay.

Man, middle of no where in a great way.
What in the world do you do for a living up there? My kind of work doesn’t do well with rural life. (I’m in automotive advertising)

this is gold mining country.
but I don’t work in mines, my dad did....my father in law and all of his 3 sons are miners too. (that’s why every other car here is a pickup)
I’m the whole IT department for an Insurance company here.
We have 8 soon to be 7 offices in the region each about 100kms(1 hour drive) from me.

oh ok cool.
I imagine it’s an area where you definitely put your 4x4 to use and probably option lots of engine block heaters lol
![]() 05/04/2016 at 13:58 |

Block heaters are a must overhere for most of january.
we had many -40 nights this year.
shit I have to check if the SX4 i’m looking at has one.....
And AWD for me is now a must, even if I only had AWD cars since 2010. I got by from 1995 till march 2010 with FWDs only.
don’t have to wake up early to plow my yard with AWDs....
![]() 05/04/2016 at 14:17 |

hahaha. I’m in Metro Detroit and I do just fine with no block heater and FWD. I don’t even do snow tires, just solid All Seasons.
February for us is the month that commonly has those harsh really cold nights. We’ll get consistent -20's most years.
![]() 05/04/2016 at 14:29 |

even in montreal a block heater optional. but here we really, really need one.
And I’ve been rocking winters since i started driving in 1995. i think the winter tire law date from about 2007.

The Mighty Rally Milan powers through 9 inches of unplowed snow with no slipping on All Seasons. I mean, they’re awesome all seasons, but I can’t justify the cost. Yes I know winters are the optimal choice.
It helps that it’s flat as a board here.
